Between the 21st and 26th of January 2025, NOWAH's Michael supported the UK Pastry Team's efforts at The Pastry World Cup / Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie, by volunteering to drive the team's van, to the competition venue in Lyon, France.
Michael and co-driver Timothée met up with the team in Lyon after covering the 1000km trip in a little over 13 hours of driving. While in Lyon, Michael and Timothée stayed with other members of the support network and the UK Pastry Team Mentees.
On the day the UK Team were competing, the whole network of support was ready and raring to go; helping the Team unpack and set-up the booth, prior to the competition, and then 9 hours later, again quickly packing everything away and loading the van immediately after the team competed, and before the results were announced.
An incredibly exciting few days for Michael, and an honour for NOWAH to assist the UK Team
