NOWAH was honoured to be one of the headline sponsors of the 2023 Young Pastry Chef Of The Year competition, organised by Passion To Inspire, and also promoted by The Craft Guild of Chefs, The Association of Pastry Chefs, and the British Culinary Federation.
NOWAH is taking the competition winner, Petra Vukovic of Adams Restaurant, on a 4-day trip to Milan, for two days of classes with Pastry World Cup Champion, Massimo Pica.
Also, all the finalists will receive invitations to NOWAH organised Up-Skill and "Pastry Event" days, with Sugar, Gelato & Chocolate-work Masters.
On February 13th, NOWAH's Director Youli Chrysikaki, along with a small NOWAH team, had the pleasure of visiting the wonderfully inspirational School of Artisan Food, on the beautiful Welbeck Estate. Ian Waterland, Managing Director of the not-for-profit school, showed our team around the school's teaching facilities, and also explained how deeply committed the school was to the promotion of healthy, sustainable and delicious food.
NOWAH are pleased to support the students at the School of Artisan Food by providing KEMPLEX and NOWAH products for use on their education programmes. The equipment will be used to teach a variety of students, particularly on their Advanced Diploma, Foundation Degree and Professional programmes.
The School of Artisan Food is a registered charity and we are delighted to work together for the benefit of the students.
